Wii friend connection problems

Can anyone help me out. I seem to be able to play other wii members worldwide and regional, but I cannot play my sister in Florida. We re verified out license numbers, we re verified each others systems codes. I have contacted nintendo and they changed my 192.168 number by 10 and that did not help. I also upgraded the firmware for my linkys router and that did not help. I am using a lan adapter for a wired linkys system and my sister is using a wireless wrt100 wireless router. I really want to hook up with her.

if you can play on worldwide and regional but not with your sister then it would have to be a error on your sisters wii or connection.

first find out if your sister is able to connected to wfc and then see if she can play worldwide and regional. if she is able to then try to join the game she is in now.

if thats not the problem then its the wii itself because if both of you are able to connect to wfc and be able to play regional and worldwide then its not the connection problem but a problem with the wii itself.

Yes we can both connect to wfc, worldwide and regional that is what is giving nintendo and linkys and hard time to understand. Both have worked on the problem for several weeks.

We could hook up worldwide. It seems to show that I am on line on her machine and she shows up online on my machine. In super mario kart the friend smiley goes from yellow to pink and when I click on it (or she does) it says unable to connect. We can send messages to each other.
