if you add someones code and they enter yours then you can send messages to them. really that's all it's for. all online games have enter another code to play against other people. but the only online games out now are mario strikers, pkmn br, madden and something else i forgot

sadly wiisports isn't online. nintendo isn't serious about online. but on the other hand guitar hero 3, medal of honor heroes 2 and super smash bros brawl will all have online and are coming out this year

It's on the cover of your address book. On the main menu of the Wii, click on the button on the bottom Right hand side. Once there, click the second button from the left on the bottom and then choose the address book application on the farthest right. On the first page it will tell you your number.
