i think that maybe you can use the wii mote for nes games. i would think so.

Alright... you buy the games with your wii points each point is a penny, and you dont use the wii mote or nunchuk to play those games. For the games you buy you use another controller which you buy called the classical controller or a gamecube controller ( i think), and thats how you play the games..

that is the same information that i have been told you either need the classic controller or one of your gamecube controllers to play the downloaded games i have also been told that nintendo is giving the option of letting people use a credit card to pay for the downloads. dont know if it is true or not so dont hold me to it

You can use the Wiimote to play NES games and systems like that, but you can't use it for N64 games.

You can either buy the Wii Points with a Credit Card or buy a prepaid card at a retailer.

you wouldn't be able to use that method for snes games tho, because there aren't L and R buttons.

I think it would be worth buying at least one classic controller because it will give you a old school meets new school feel and it will add to your Wii collection.
