Mine had the same kind of issue. It costs nothing as long as it hasn't been over a year since you purchased it. Go to NoA's site and put in a repair request. If you don't have a My Nintendo acct yet then you'll need to make one, you'll also need to register your system if you haven't done that yet. They'll send a prepaid packing slip to you in the mail. Assuming it's under warranty the shipping and repair will be free of charge, if it's not then you'll just pay them for it when it's repaired. Once you get the prepaid shipping label all you need to do is box up your console (sans cables and wii-motes), afix the label to the box, and drop it off at a UPS pickup spot (UPS stores, some Office Depots, etc.).
If you live near Redmond, Wa. (which I do) then you can drop it off at their walk-in repair center. When mine got repaired 3 weeks ago it was about a 2-3 day turn around on repairs.

Thanks for the info. I will do that, and I bought it not that long ago so the warranty will still be available.
![]() EDIT: I am getting my console repaired this week, I already have the repair information and everything, my dad just has to package up the console and drop it off at a UPS station. Also, my Wii is still under the warranty, so my Wii will be fine soon.

Yeah i would take that in dude. Its not worth it to pay money to have a broken console. Or, you could email nintendo and maybe they can help you work things out. Oh and are you rough with it... I know my friend hit his wii and he kept getteing errors too, so consider that. Also check the disk for scratches. thats all i got for u bud. Hope i helped.

I think I figured out the problem. I had my Wii on the stand vertically, and I always kept keeping it on over night (I know, not smart) and I think it was getting too overheated, which was why it was getting the error message. I have mine horizontally now so the system's fan can work without being blocked and I never got the error message since. But if I do get the message again, I probably will get it repaired, though.
