New Staff Members Wanted

Hello everyone.

I have decided to create a few new staff positions here at wiispace. For lack of a better term, I am going to call these positions, Forum Leaders.

What does a forum leader do? This person will look after 1 or 2 forums here at wiispace and be responsible for creating new threads and replying to those threads on a daily basis. Basically, you will keep the forum you are assigned to active. People interested would have to be very dedicated to doing this.

Why am I doing this? Our forum has become very active lately with new members. We have lots of old topics and threads, and we need fresh ones. Fresh topics / threads = lots of posting.

As far as perks go, I will pay you the same amount I get from Wiispace.com... $0 . But, you will get staff privileges, which basically equal the VIP amenities.

so are there multiple fourm leaders for one fourm and what if a fourm leader leaves for a while is he fired?

I am looking for single leaders for each section / forum to start. If we need more, we will add them.

Yes, they will have a green pill that reads "Forum Leader" like the mods do...

BTW, these positions do NOT have mod powers.

i would think that if you do a good job as forum leader. those will be the people we pick from when it comes time for new mods. what do you think wiispace.

That sounds like a good idea, Midnight. The forum leaders can also notify a mod if they spot spamming or the like.

I would agree.. this would be the place where we would look for new mods most likely.

In all seriousness: I would be interested. I think you should look towards the Wiispace Legends group, considering that's kind of their whole purpose--to make Wiispace more active. I'm sure you could get plenty of help there.
