Next GTA to have a "Good" "Bad" Karma system...?

I personally participate in surveys with different game companies that are available usually to people in the industry...and today in my email I received a survey based on karma systems in games. After filling it out for a while this question pops up...



So sounds like Rockstar is at least considering the idea of a Karma system in the next GTA game if enough people like it. Might make it that much more awesome.

To Quote Jo Nada from another site...

It doesn't have to be about being good or bad, but more along the lines of moral decisions like choosing to do a hit on some innocent random guy that owes some boss money or decide to take out the boss himself instead. Maybe it can also deal with how many people you run over, how many times you have cops on you, how many cops you kill. There are dozens of things like that they can keep track of and mold the game accordingly as you play without ruining the essence of what GTA is.

GTA4 actually had decisions like these, but they just barely affected various outcomes of the game so I'm guessing this would mean this system is more dynamic. Probably affecting what kinda contacts you have, what kinda missions you get, weapons, places to live, etc...

yeah...does anyone remember GTA2? where you got "good" or "bad" points for the gangs depending on what you did and to whom? and if you were in the bad zone with the gangs, they would do drive bys and **** on you?

that game was TIGHT.

I think it'd be cool if Rockstar implemented a "Good-Bad" system.
It would add multiple "roads" to the game, and would affect how the game plays out for everything.

I'm all for this. It'd be something different for the GTA series.
