I got 1/2 of my tuition by running EVERY fricken day in college at 4:00pm (Cross-Country and Distance Track)

I have absolutely no ideas for college. I do know that I will go to a college, I just don't know where and for what. I am almost thinking of either game development(concept art) or possibly animation.

On top of all this most parents are in debt or realy strapped for cash so, all in all college will keep you in debt for about 10 years or more unless you get a good ass scholorship and work ur but off while living with your parents for about 2 and a half years after graduating (thats my plan).

Like I said for better or for worse its almost a necessity to go to college in order to get a decent job. Even though the debt is intially heavy if you get a decent job via a degree you can pay it off over time maybe even pay most of it so interest dosen't go up. Thats what I hope to do anyways. I'm considering going to somewhere around my home town in VA or one of the service academies.

The taco speaks the truth, our economy is decline. For example, you'll see grown people in their 30's and 40's working at McDonalds taking peoples' orders. That's a job for teenagers like me, if they take the occupations that we're supposed to have because they don't have an education to get anything higher, something is going to have to flux.

If I get *censored*whipped out of a job at Mickey D's by some 40 year old guy, I am gonna be pissed like nothing else.

Then again, if for some odd reason I ever think that McDonalds sounds like a good place to work, my life has probably hit rock bottom as it is and being unable to get said job would be some sort of divine act of mercy.

Thanx for agreeing but I don't think our economy is on the decline I think what you mean is that its education and personnal responsibility on the decline (which I would agree with). People don't wanna take it upon themselves anymore to educate themselves because it may require time and effort and people don't want to sacrifice that anymore they want instant results just look at disposable diapers, microwaves, the internet. Plus I think that moral values have also gone downhill as to what people prioritize in their life nowindays instead of education people think its more important to socialize and make friends.(which socializing isn't bad as long as its in moderation)Overall I think that societies outlook has changed and IMO kinda for the worse. And with things like the no child left behind act its no longer ok to fail kids and teach them the material they need to learn instead promote little johnny up to the 5th grade when he cant even read or write that just worsens the situation even more.

If this turns into a rant about how school is more important than Brawl, I'm going to have to agree with you. At least at first. Only until I gain your trust so I can stab you in the back and burn you as a heretic. And then feed your corpse to lions. And then feed the lions to Michael Jackson. Then get the lions stomach pumped out of Michael Jackson and have them fed to Steve the Dog, where your guts can mix with those of Ganondorf so that the next time he gets revived he will have you mixed into him. That way, he will have an extra head, and be such a freak that he turns too emo to try and take over Hyrule. Therefore, by telling me that Brawl is not as important as real life, and then letting me kill you, you are actually helping save the world.

Harsh, but I agree college is more important than brawl. Brawl is definitely amazing, but less important in terms of caliber compared to college. To be honest though, I think that having few grades per semester with tests counting 1/5 of your grade is a great thing. I prefer 1/3 of the grade and relying on my persevering instincts to get me through. College is pretty much a utopia with just that work on the side. Getting to live with all your friends, and hanging out with people your own age expands your social world immeasurably. So, Just make sure you get the grade you need, and everything will turn out well. Afterwards, You can play smash nonstop for that 1 week of doing nothing, but you will probably lose to us at that point

You did not just make that comparison. You seriously had to think that out?

Regardless, if Brawl keeps someone from going to college, that person really lacks motivation to get anything accomplished in life

I don't live on campus I commute everyday. So I don't really know anyone an campus except the other kids that graduated with me that go to my college.
