Burning out on wow... will Conan help?

wow how long has this thread been here?
2 things you all must know

1. Age of Conan is a better game (get over it die hards)

2. World of Warcraft is forever because not many people want to leave their years of grinding to start all over.

also i beleive that splitting your time between the 2 is just silly
AoC and WoW (i guess) both have so much to offer there is no point to having both. Unless of course the only reason you will get AoC is by getting WoW. (then do it)


as for the point about age of conan being a hog (which it is) its really just an investment because in a year or 2 every game is going to require what it does so it doesnt matter your just getting teh sweet computer a little earlier. I had to up my computer myself and let me tell you dont buy a new computer. Your looking at a $900 desktop or a $1200 laptop to run it. Just buy a couple parts that your computer doesnt have good enough and buy them. It instead cost me $400 and now i have an excelent computer that has the suggested gear and it runs beutifully.

This game is very fun, had to install on my friends computer until i recieve a new one for graduation. going to be playing on Bane culture pvp and Cimmarian rp pvp.

Its not the grinding for lvl's its how easy wow is to play and start out with. Try stating a new game in Eve or the 9 year old everquest.

With wow, the learning curve is not so deep.

Playing both because i have friends that prefer 1 game and other's that prefer the other, and can afford the system to run conan.

Meh looks like a korean grinder. flying might be fun though. But you can only fly in certian area's. The class' look to cookie cutter to me. But hey thats just me.

Im still playing both because of the investment I have in WoW at the moment. 4 toons at 70, 1 at 62 and 1 at 60. THere are a LOT of hours there... 1 toon is in t6, 2 with t4 here and there, and 1 is heroics ready (with 1 piece of t4)

We tired a bit of AoC recently... ended up moving to a PvE server and re-rolling mainly because we were sick and tired of the corpse camping. I can deal with getting ganked by someone 20 levels above me when running around... but getting ganked and then corpse camped for 20 minutes until I log out? Seriously... where is the fun in that?

Cimmaria rppvp has a Kill on sight list, and a alliance of guilds that promotes a fair pvp policy. so they declair war on whosoever is doing the camping. they do not expect you to RP either.
