can someone help me with DirectX?

When i do the run file to check what type of Direct X i have, it says im running 9.0c


the problem is that when i run The Sims 2 Deluxe[for the first time ever, straight from the box], i get

Well have you checked for updates?

i got direct x 10 but i think u need that tho for windows vista

Well I think you should reinstall direct x then it will work trust me.

i guess i forgot to report...


it worked like the next day...i got a new driver from the manufacturer's website.




i already uninstalled sims 2....long ago...
