It's been three pages since I last posted here, so there's to much to reply to. One thing I did notice (and I tried not to be biesed) but while there has been long posts on both sides, the "No" side seems to have given more thought out explanations to the subject at hand. Otherwise there's been some good arguments about other stuff. the "Yes" side as mostly just said, "They deserve the right, and there's nothing you can do about it". MOSTLY!!
It's perfectly possible to have a clean, upstanding debate without religion or resorting to name-calling (which is what I mean by "clean")... unless, of course, the debate is about religion. Take debate teams in schools.... they can debate without going to religion. Then again, they are taught to know HOW to debate *cough*. Take a lesson from them.

Yeah I guess, but I'm homeshcooled, and I'm not sure if the closest school does debate (but I think they probebly do).
Has there been any name calling? Some people said "homo" but that's just a shortened word. Unless you mean otherwise. Plus, this site isn't exactly full of A-class debaters. Mostly hot heads.

Take another look at those animals, why don't you?

It is possible to forcefully swap your orientation. I've seen it done. However, the friends I know that are homosexual describe tendencies from early childhood (from around the time puberty sets in).

They are quite the same as any other normal people developing their attraction to the opposite sex. And I can't recall ever choosing to be heterosexual (which would be the converse of saying they chose to be homosexual). Why should we assume they do?

Oh yeah, the big bad Bible...

That's why we agnostics make the best debaters.

An agnostic is a person who believes in the possibility of a god, but has no evidence to base that claim, and therefore doesn't believe.

*sigh* after Sackboy's last post, I deem this good enough to close. After what he said, I smell a heavy religious debate coming, which was NOT the intention of this thread.
