I guess. And really (WITHOUT TRYING TO BRING RELIGION INTO IT) I don't think this country isn't ever going to reach a point where we, the normal citizens, are going to have to fight the government, like in the Revolutionary war.

EDIT: Meaning we really don't need auto weapons.

Uhm when the end of the world comes aKa Doomsday...no automatic weapons are going to help you anyway man...just make peace with yourself for all your life actions and be ready to call it a life...

My biggest concern is the increased automation of the military. With more and more soldiers being replaced by robots, that puts more power into only a few people's hands. Right now soldiers are from every day American life. They each have conscience and won't do something that they do not feel is right if they know what they are doing. In the future, it might not be the same though. Only a few people will be able to control a massive army.
