Besides if this whole reality is an illusion, you cannot prove that it is not an illusion based upon the experiences in the illusion.

Those feelings are only reactions to the illusion. (supposedly) And also drugs can affect your emotions.

I never said that God directly affects everyones senses. Only the people that He chooses to. I said that the author of the video said that even when something happens that would appear to be from God or even God Himself, there are many other explanations for it. Therefore, the nothing could possibly convince him.

That is nerve damage... not his body being fooled. I'm in the medicine field, I know that much. Seriously, you tried something like that?? No offense, but that was a terrible example... And, as I stated, pain is the key to breaking "illusions" that are being held on your brain. Hence why we wake up from hypnotism and dreams when we receive pain. Illusions broken. Drugs affecting emotions, are classic examples why I hate said drugs (weed, for example), but that statement had nothing to do, whatsoever, with your statements about "illusions" and "reality". Sure, some cause illusions, but you'd have to take the drug first, so that's a very major dependent on the person (again, going back to weak-minded people).

And saying this so-called "god" only affects people s/he chooses is simply flawed logic that, yet again, can't be proven.

Yet it moves all the time.

Note how it says "cannot be moved" not "is not moving." Of course it is also in the present tense for the time so The Bible never said that it will never be moved.

May I ask why you left most of the verse out? It clearly explains what pillars it is referring to.

8He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them.
1 Samuel 2:8

Since it is referring to the social hierarchy of the world, it is, of course, talking about how civilization is set upon these princes of God. The colon shows the relationship between the two thoughts.

Isaiah 40:22- "It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And it's inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in."
Sounds kinda like a flat circular Earth with a canopy over it.

Well, I do not think that they actually thought that they were grasshoppers so I think he is referring to God's view from above the earth. And just because he said "like a curtain" does not mean that he actually thought that it was a curtain.

And...
Isaiah 13:10 also says that the moon is a source of light. "moon shall not cause her light to shine." Again this is another example of the Bible seeming to be inspired by man and limited to his own perception.

Well, looking at the full verse.

10For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
Isaiah 13:10

It talks about the sun being darkened. It looks to me like it is saying that the moon shall not cause the sun's light to shine.

Well, a set age is never given in The Bible. It is believed that when you come to a mental state where you are able to determine for yourself you are accountable. The Bible describes David's baby who died would be reunited with David again. The age probably varies from person to person, but I do not know about mentally retarded people. :/

EDIT: Never said I could prove God. I actually said that you can't. If you could, that would go against The Bible. Nobody can prove God or reality. I can show evidence supporting creation and The Bible, but I can't prove God.

Something funny I thought I'd mention. When I was a kid (about 10), I actually came to the conclusion that the Earth had to be millions of years old by myself. I had been learning about rocks in class, and how they form. And when I went to a local mountain with my parents, I realized the mountain had to of been halfway underwater at some point, because of the way the rocks were carved.

And then a few years later I had learned that the Valley I live in had been partially underwater millions of years ago when it was a part of the ocean. Some people might say it was the "great flood" from the bible. But this mountain would have taken thousands of years of being buffeted by water to look like it did.
