Resistance 2 public beta now open :: PlayStation Universe (PSU)

We have incoming! Insomniac Games has just thrown open the public beta to Resistance 2. Step on over to the official site to sign up for a shot at the PlayStation 3's biggest and baddest mutant shooter yet. You'll need to supply a PSN ID, obviously, plus your full name, postcode and details of your gaming tastes.

Resistance 2 follows on directly from Insomniac's much-loved launch title, with Nathan Hale now defending his native USA against the toothy Chimeran horde. 60-player online, skyscraper-sized Leviathans and a separate co-op campaign are just some of the highlights.

The game is out on November 4 in North America, and later on that month in Europe.
