connect wirelessly to internet with PS2

You don't.

The PS2 has a network adapter that allows you to connect to play online games such as FFXI and Tony Hawk 4, but if you mean like browsing the internet, I'm 90% sure that you can't.

Hi I live in the Uk and I have no idea were to get the network adapter but thats why I am getting the wii is because you can plug in the internet straight from the router.

I have just been informed that on a slim line ps2 (what I have) does not need internet yes! I have been playing all the latest net play games.

The only time when you need a network adapter is when you have the big ps2.
