I hear its gonna have a built in memory, hopefully 8 more that would be great! And also supposed to have 2 joysticks/thumbpads, so that it can be easier to control.

I cant wait till the new one comes out because some of the buttons on my PSP don’t work (the D PAD… the buttons are REALLY REALLY loose) and it froze on me twice once today and once yesterday, I got really far in GTA LCS too….
Yes, there has been a ton of talk of all the features this thing will have, but consider the sources man. I will believe it when I hear it from Sony myself, but from not some guy in my local electronics store or gamestop.

I do believe it will eventually come out, but man, there have been SOO many articles that supposedly "Prove" that this system will be released for a long time, and I stopped buying them a while back. The main reason I doubt this will happen anytime soon is that Sony has not even given a slightly good reason to believe this thing is coming out anytime soon. They have barely mentioned it at all. I highly highly highly doubt this thing will come out before Christmas. I mean Christmas is about 5 months away. I don't think Sony will announce, create, and produce this thing in five months.

Trust me, I want the PSP2 A LOT. 8GB of space + my 4GB memory stick (Hopefully a 16gb will be released soon) would be A-W-E-S-O-M-E, but I wont expect this thing until it has been announced. Last time I went to the Sony PSP forums I saw many threads asking about the PSP2 release and every one got the same response "We don't know. Sony hasn't announced it yet." Most of the members there doubted the release too. Many people also became upset with all the people asking about the system. Anyways, I'm not saying this thing won't come out, just not for a while, and defiantly not before Christmas.

Little good this will do Sony... the reason why DS is ahead is because of its games. If the game library is subpar, no matter how good the hardware, the PSP will never catch up.
