Here’s a pretty good list of the ten games that were so difficult, they resulted in hundreds of new and fascinating curse words being screamed across the world. Battletoads can go to hell. i have to say i agree with them and yah battletoads >.<

i would say the classic donkey kong game (the arcade version)
its impossible to save the princess!!! (yes the kill screen kills you before you get to the princess)

F-zero GX definitely makes the list I'm surprised that I was even able to beat the story mode.

Super Ghouls and Ghosts has always been the hardest game for me. I played it when I was kid and just thought it was ridiculous and even now I can't get past the 2nd level.

Beating Super Monkey Ball on the hardest setting. There's like 50 levels to it and I can only get to the 10th. I'm good at the game also.

I think Battletoads is the hardest by far. I would play it all the time and could only get up to the third level. However, it was fun to use the game genie to see the other levels. My favorite is the one where you have to jump on the snakes moving across the screen. One of my favorite NES games.
