Ps2 Help

I need help! I decided to bring out my PS2 and for some reason it won't play any sports games It just plays shooting ect.. but no sports. (DON'T SEND TO SONY DID IT ABOUT A YEAR AGO NOTHING WRONG).

Yeah, if you buy games from different countries the game has a different format, so it can't play on an english (your country) playstation, that happened to me once, its kinda annoying!
