hidden stars

I have 63 stars but can't get the golden chomp
There is supposed to be a rainbow star to make you invincible but it does not come up
do I have to complete the regular stars in the galaxy before trying the hidden stars
need some info

i'll tell you, its a little easier if you compete all the regular stars first. then a clear star should appear with a "?" if you still have trouble you may need to check out a players guide or use google and find a walk through, i had to on a few stars.

the golden chomp is in the gusty garden galaxy but i dont know how to get the mystery star please give me the info

I forgot how, but your supposed to use the flowers to get somewhere or something like that! Now I remember! You have to get all those big ? coins and then a rainbow star will appear. Use it to get the star from the golden Chain Chomp.
