I played Super Mario Galaxy!

I found out there was a playable version of the game at Gamestop,
so I headed on over there yesterday. The full version of the game was there. It was a lot of fun to play. No internet video can truly capture the awe of actually seeing the game run at 60 frames per second on a widescreen television screen. I also never thought I'd have that much fun and real excitement actually playing the game. The controls were easy to pick up, due to all the things I've read about them. I played until I had eleven stars, every one of them being fun to obtain. There is never a dull moment in the game, and I'm definetely picking it up when it comes out.

Good to hear! that it is whats to be expected. I loved Mario 64, hoping this one will take Mario to a whole new level!

Does anyone know of any places in Toronto GTA, ON, Canada that will have galaxy test stations?

I just went to gamestop at lunch and they had it. I played for about 10 minutes and it seems pretty cool so far. Thats a big compliment coming from me since I HATED mario 64 with a passion. It made me physically sick. The camera seems to work pretty good and didn't make me sick for my 10 minute impression. I will definitely rent this one... after RE:UC.

The level design of the game is simply superb. It is even better than Super Mario 64. It's as if Nintendo decided to throw in every platforming idea they could think of and put it in one glorious showcase.

I loved it I understand the camera angles weren't the best.... but just think! for being one of the first games on one of the first 3D gaming consoles.. it was pretty good/fun

I don't doubt that it was.....if you could actually play it. The graphics, the blurry graphics, along with the camera angles made me feel nautious. After ten minutes of Mario64 I had to go outside and get fresh air. I tried one more time but I couldn't do it. I'm glad I never bout the system. This is common for me and N64 games. Never happened on PC games or PS games.. Just something about the N64's graphics bother me.

But back to topic, Mario Galaxy seemed to be pretty good and I will give it a try.

Agreed! I found that a lot of nintendo games were too colourful and hard to look at for periods of time...

But this was a friends system... allowing me to go home and play my good ol' playstation. (mmmmmm final fantasy)

Hell yeah, Final Fantasy VII. That was the first RPG I'd ever played. I'm glad it was that one, if it had not been I probably wouldn't like RPG's today.
