SMG : Underwhelming?

I just started playing SMG, as I like to finish previous platforms/RPGs before starting a new one, and I had a huge backlog (Just finished Assassin's Creed, and am left thinking "WTF? It's over?").

Anyway, I'm not long into the game, but so far I'm left asking "where's the beef?" I find the camera annoying, and the motion on the screen tedious and tiring. Not only that, but I haven't found anything challenging yet. It just doesn't seem to have that same "SM" feel. I'm hoping that it is just the early levels that have this feel to them and that the game gets progressively better. Hopefully this doesn't turn out like the last Paper Mario game...

I found that Super Mario Galaxy got progressivly harder as you got further into the game. I have already "beaten" the game - I just need to finish those damn purple comets.

So don't give up on SMG, I think it's the best game on the Wii thus far.

And as to the latest Paper Mario game, it's nothing like the other ones but still a great game.

You can expect most of the game to be easy if you're a veteran platformer. There's about 20 stars that truely are a challenge well maybe more like 10 of them.

is it fun?...yes

i found it quite refreshing, and relaxing....if u really want a chalenge just wait until you get to bowsers dark matter plannet once u unlock the bedroom

that took me 2 hours X_X

regaurdless this game will give you sevral hours of enjoyment...and you will find youirself remesinising of mario

The comets are what end up being the pains in the butt. They float around and challenge you.

i found the camera very impressive since it has to go all around as ur walking upside down on planets...but ur right this game is easy...but i had a blast...and yes it starts off slow...but dont worry it gets a lot better

redoing the game with luigi is a bit more hard =O

I've put this game aside for now - too busy with Lost Odyssey for the 360 (amazing game!). Will get back to it after I finish that up...

The game was great. Just what you'd expect from a true Mario game. It's just that it's a bit too easy. I've already beaten the game 100% as both Mario and Luigi. All in all, it only took me about a week. Super Mario 64 took me several years to beat. Granted I was just a kid at time but still. Anyway I do think that he game could have been alot more challenging, considering how many times it was delayed.
