Watching people on the news COULD be fun, but watching myself play Brawl at the time I could be doing that will be so much more rewarding.

It doesn't matter how fast you get the game, but that you get it at all. I wouldn't want to play the game sleep-deprived anyways.
Also, this is probably the only chance in my lifetime I will have the opportunity to wait till midnight, and I won't do it because nights are cold here right now.
