First door on "The Forest" level after you beat Subspace Emissary. After your first mini-battle with the Primids, a door will appear.

you can get link by beating classic mode after collecting all targets in Target Smash.

What do the flags and crowns over a stage on the map mean on SSE?

Can all the enemies be caught with trophy stands, cause I weakened one to the point of 1 hit kill and it didn't catch it in a trophy =(

It depends. Certain enemies have stages that they need to be at before you trophy them; best example is the Gygax thing or whatever (the one with the clown head on top of stagger yellow tea kettles); you can't trophy that until only the head remains.
