Epic Games won’t ever make a game for the Wii: “we go forward, not back"

Maybe people stop playing it because companies like this are to lazy to make more high quality 3rd party games!

Its sad to see that this kind of attitude is what is destroyed nintendo's third party industry to begin with. Few people are willing to make them, and the few that do decide to make rediculous overuse of the wii's motion sensing, taking an otherwise good game and turning it into "simon says". For this very reason I am actually considering getting Force Unleashed on the PS2 (my only other console) instead of on the wii. :'(

I play my Wii practically every day even though I have a Playstation 3. True that most third party developers don't make very good games for the Wii, but that is their failt. They are just trying to cash in on the craze by pumping out as many games as they can. I will always get a Nintendo system because Nintendo makes the best games that I have ever played. Sure I don't play M rated games, but I don't feel like I'm missing out.

Technically you are missing out, because those M-rated games could easily become the best games you've ever played, but we won't get into that.

In the case of third-party games, I'd like to point out games like Splinter Cell: Double Agent. This is a really good game, and plays decently on the Wii; however, up until I saw it at costco today, I didn't even know it was made for a Wii.

I've seen very few third-party Wii games advertised, which is probably related to the limited success of most third-party games. In turn, fewer companies want to MAKE these games because they're under-advertised compared to first party, which leads to less third party games for the Wii, which means the ones we do get are of lesser quality, which means they aren't advertised....the endless cycle continues.

Whoah whoah whaoh, nintendo doesn't even NEED to advertise their games. They put up Dojo for brawl, but it was the only mention of it I ever saw until release. The reason first party games from nintendo overshadow the third party without being advertised is that a game made by Nintendo doesn't need to be advertised. The games are so incredibly good that people say "Yaaay! Another Metroid game!". If I walked into a store today with 50 dollars meant for the medecine that would save the life of my invalid grandmother, they had better hope that stores haven't already gotten copies of the new "LOZ: Link needs cash".

Over the course of several years, nintendo has taken their standard formula and adapted it into this superior and more effective system for producing games.

Step 1: Nintendo
Step 2: Hate our own fans. A lot.
Step 3: ????
Step 4: PROFIT!

Well its sad to see that third parties are puting the wii aside cuz i bet that if they actually put some time and effort into their games that they would actually sell good and be decent just look at No More Heros.

I've never played No More Heroes, but it was one of two games that Yahzee said he didn't completely hate. I think that alone says something for it.

yeh thats like me, until i get a new game then im on it for a month or so...

:/ kinda true but as long as they keep bringing good games to the wii then no its not true. I haven't been in a situation where i haven't played my wii for more than a day in a LONG time ,why? i think its because they keep bringing out good games. i played cod3 for a good while and when i beat that, then i got marvel ultimate uliance i got bored with that so i got mario galaxy when i got done with that i got gh3 then (im not bored with gh3 and still play every now and then) i got brawl (nowhere near bored with that) and im getting mkwii tommorrow as long as they keep bringin out good games i wont ever get bored with my wii.
