RE5 coming to the Wii!!!!

That's good news and all but I wonder how the port from the 360/PS3 version will come out. Hopefully well polished and complete.

it will most likely be a broken port with dulled down graphics and horible controls thta over use the motion feature.im sorry i know i sound negitize, but ive lived through to many horible ports. but i dunno, capcom could do good who knows?

Yeah there are a lot of bad ports out there. However they did such a good job brining RE4 to the wii. They didnt over use the motion features and the controls were better then they were on the gamecube.

You may still be right, but if they do choose to make a port (which is still yet to be seen) i am banking on them doing it right.

what i said was a lil negitive i understand. i should give the guys who make resident evil a lil more props ive only actualy only ever been disapointed with 2 resident evil games, and ive played every single game to date thus far. i just was not a fan of resident evil zero and resident evil 2

Yeah I agree with you 100%! I did not enjoy RE Zero or RE 2 very much. The first and third one was alright.

In fact I am very picky when it comes to my RE games. There are a few good ones, but the only one I really loved was RE4. Really if they do make a RE5 for the wii, I just hope it is up to par with that game. I like the new over the shoulder view that they gave them, I think that is why I did not care for to many of the earlier ones, although I did play through them all the way

For course the rail shooter RE that came out for the wii not to long ago was kind of fun as well...

well reisdent evil 4 is a great game and all, but i always tell ppl dont judge the Resident Evil series buy the 4th,because imo its not a real R.E. i mean yes its based around umberall corp BUT its got no zombies, just infected mexicans. dont get me wrong, i enjoyed it but wassnt huge on the story. the first one they put on the gcn simply titled " Residen Evil" was my fave.

Yeah I see where you are coming from with the story line, but it was my favorite. I guess that is why I like it so much more then the other ones because it was so much different, but I think I liked it mostly based on the controls.

I never got a chance to play the RE on the gcn. I remember playing the second one on the 64, man that was a long time ago

i wouldnt be suprised by the least if it never hit the wii to be honest. the whole reason we got "Resident Evil Umberall Cronicles" was to substitue it for RE5, and btw anyone who has not playev RE:UC go out and rent it, its a coelction of every RE game exceot 4, and its compiled into a rail shooter. its absolutley magnificent.

but yeah if RE5 did come to the wii i would be shocked. and the only ppl who i will belive is nintendo or capcom. not some random site.
