and I wouldn't like to have built in rechargable batteries anyhow on my controller, because plugging the wiimote into a wall before use would look kinda stoopid, and lots of time with those manufactorer made batts you have to buy new ones from the manufactorer for a lot more than AA if they break.

you would save lots of cash though... ps...it would probably plug into the wii not the wall

yer i dont see what the problem is....rechargeable AA's are not rare and they last forever + you can use them for other devices like cd players and stuff

IGN also reveals this piece of interesting information:

"Interestingly, according to documentation the Wii-mote is able to act as something of an eye, measuring coordinates between 0-1023 on the X axis and 0-767 on the Y axis, which means that it is more or less seeing a megapixel image. Whether or not this data can be interrupted into visual information remains unknown, but we're not ruling out the possibility that the pointer could sub as a camera. This is, of course, purely speculative on our part, but stranger things have certainly happened - like, for instance, an internal speaker."

how come? if it was a in built one you would have to but the controller down and plug it into the wall...now you can just swop between two sets! i just hope the weight is not too much and its balanced out

i think recharging would be great because you can swap the dead batteries with the charged batteries and you always have a pair of batteries that are ready 2 be used.
