8 player wii?

ok so far for mario party 8 and super bust a move for the wii say they can support 8 DIFFERENT WIIMOTES??? How are they doing that? on the back of one of them it even shows 8 wiimotes. I dont want to buy 8 different wiimotes.

I was wondering the same thing, I figured in bust a move, 4 people are using remotes while the other four are using attached nunchucks, simply tilting to aim your bubbles, as far as mp8 goes I would guess it's the same thinking and is only for a certain mode of gameplay other than the normal gameplay mode.

Or maybe it actually supports 8 Wii motes? After all, it's wireless. It'd be expensive, but if you get friends who have Wii's to bring their Wii-motes, it could work... maybe?

ya but mp8 and bust a move arent online

probably in the game 8 people can play while alternating 1 to 4 wiimotes....some minigames in mario party 8 are probably not played simultaniously

yeah but the picture on the back showed 8 DIFFERENT WIIMOTES for MP8 i beleive but not sure

i think its just alternating play

the wiimote has 4 squares which indicate whos player 1 and player 2 and 3 and 4....there arent 8 squares so it wouldnt work

The Wiimotes work off of Bluetooth, so Nintendo can have the ability to use more than just 8 devices if they want.
