FINALLY! 250 aint bad, considering a 50 dollar game is included, tho i am disppaointed that it's not coming with 2 controllers and 2 nunchuks... but still im hyped up now! I play tennis in real life, so i wonder how it is on the Wii! I'm hyperventilating! *deep breath* I must wait till Nov. 19...

Sorry, but this is bull****.
$250!? The thing isn't that much more powerful than a Gamecube, yet they're charging more for it than they did the Gamecube when it came out, when it was a top of the line console? This is pure bull****. $60 for a controller!? The Wii was meant to be a cheap, easy, fun console. If it's only $50 less than the 360, why are people going to bother? It costs too much for the controller and the games are hardly any cheaper. If the 360 drops in price any time soon, the Wii is toast. Stupid, stupid move by Nintendo. They should have sold it at a lost if they had to. And the games are still extortionate. |

I heard they WERE selling it at a loss...?
The Wii has much more than the Gamecube, though. Obviously, the innovative Wiimote; Wii-Connect 24; Virtual Console (even though you pay to download games, you can still DO it); the fact that it IS, nevertheless, more powerful than the Gamecube; and the fact that over the years, stuff goes up in price. It's still the cheapest, even if by 'only' $50. I personally wouldn't let that stop me buying the console I wanted most (just as well that it's not the PS3 I want most, now THAT is bullsh*t). Sorry if the capitals make me come off as rude, I'm not trying to be, I'm just trying to emphasise. ![]() |
