i belive in order to have a link to there site on a main page. you need / should have tehre permission. but i dunno how true or how inforced it is. but the site dose show some cool stuff.

i'm not sure i agree with this, but i don't know for sure either...why wouldn't they want as many links to their page as possible? it's free publicity. that's never a bad thing. but, like i said, i don't know if there are permission issues at hand...

A usefull tool for you guys so that you can check up free and legally who the owner of the domain. type WHOIS in a search engine or goto Register domain names, domain name registration and domain name transfers (a worldwide register of domain name). Its usefull so you wouldnt hand out your creditcard number to some unknown online shop also.

the resion you dont want all the free publicity without regulateing it has to do with reputation. you keep the reputation with the company you keep(or something like that). so it would be like say a porn site had a link to nintendo then that would give a bad image to nintendo because people would think they are advertising in the "Adult industry"

exactly but the main thing is anyways that that is the main wii site from nintendo I remember hearing about it in the conference.
