Ever played Mortal Kombat 3 on Xbox Live Arcade? It is really fun to be able to talk during the matches. People can show you how to do moves, you can just chat with friends while playing...and yes....sometimes trashtalk. Its a part of gaming.

That's the point of a headset, is to be able to chat with your friends online and even strangers who you happen to be playing a game with. I fail to see why Nintendo hasn't released a headset yet. That's why most people prefer XBox Live.....

xbox live with a headset is pretty funny, like on gears if you chain a bunch of people they get annoyed LOL

i once had this one guy in our hosted match that kept swearing at us so we kicked him
he then came back and said something like "u dont know me, that sh** is NASTY"
and im like what the heck is he on about LMAO? so we kicked him bout a dozen more times and he kept coming back saying the same thing over and over so we just laughed

THat is the only thing I wouldnt like about having a headset. Maybe Nintendo put the Voice Recognition Chip in their wii remote to filter it out.

See, this is the stuff i hate about headsets. I can understand a lil trashtalking, but when people go overboard and just ruin the game. Everyone's level is different as to bad trashtalking, but you all know that time when some dude just won't shut up and is messing up the game. Thats one difference between halo 3 and cod4, i noticed a lot.

i think that basically means they dont know yet, but they don;t want to lie to you and they have to be sneeky, so they are just saying u never know. headset would be kool. good for fps. fun for any other online game. could also open up a lot of opprotunitys. Knowing nintendo (which most ppl do by now) theyd probably make a anwsering machine channel where you can record messages and send them to people and stuff. a phone channel.

yeh, but i just switch the headset off or on some games you can mute them
