Wii To Bypass Lifetime GameCube Sales Within Next Few Weeks

that's amazing.. i hate when some pople are like "yeah everybody wants a ps3, nobody wants a wii" yet if you go to any electronics store, there will be an empty wii shelf, and at least 10 ps3s

While I don't think the PS3 will overtake the Wii anytime soon, the PS3 games of 2008 make PS3 look desirable. I have a feeling PS3 is going to sell a lot better in 2008 than it did in 2007.

I agree, it will be interesting to see what happens this year seeing the wii being on top of the sales charts now, but the PS3's impressive lineup of games coming later this year. What will happen?

yo i dont think the gamecube was that good of a system, it's actually the only nintendo non-portable system that i did not own, and yes i have a virtual boy lol

I think that the wii will surpass sales for everything but the nes

If you are responding to Nintendosuperfan, and he is talking about third-party games, then he's probably right. Barely any 3rd party games are being sold well for the Wii, and if this continues developers will probably be scared of losing money because their games would be shadowed by Nintendo. No third-party support = trouble.

I loved--liked the GC, I didn't have that many games for it, but the ones that I did play on it were great. I can't think of something that I really had against the little system other than the annoyingly small disks-lol
