Nintendo has a patent on a few ideas
Check out this link I came across. It turns out some pages leaked on a Nintendo filed patent for some peripherals. Granted, as said in the article the patent was filed back in 2006 but hey, you never know what they got going on and the images are interesting to see nonetheless. Enjoy.

nice find! I really hope that skateboard, wii box charger, gun, baseball bat are real..
But they are prolly just discarded like they said.
