Cancelled PC FPS Coming to Wii Exclusively!!!

There is a rumor going on at Nforums that someone knows someone who works for IGN. And they have been told that a cancelled FPS that a halo style feel is being ported over to the Wii. The game was said to be a Halo Killer and really reminds me of the old Xenias rumors. Here is some detail on it:

My buddy talked with matt the nintendo editor at IGN (how cool is that and matt had interesting news…

But before I get into that you need to here this first,

There was a game being developed for the PC (wasn’t given a title) but was cancelled due to complications in the programming. This game was going to be a huge FPS halo style shooter. Alex (my friend) said that it was going to be better than halo, in every aspect. The controls, graphics, online. It took place in the future so I’m guessing there would be futuristic weapons and all that jazz.

Now back to the nintendo related stuff. Matt was saying that Nintendo showed A LOT of interest, and they were willing to re-write the whole programming gig (I’m not a programmer, I don’t know the programming lingo) because the big N thought it showed so much promise.

Ah so as you can see it’s from some dude who supposedly talked to Matt and he talked to him about this halo-killer. It was supposed to be better in controls, graphics, online, ect. So as stated Nintendo liked the idea so picked it up and are going to put it on the Wii. So the dude who wrote this his friend said he wanted to prove this to be true so badly that he put up concept art from the PC game before it was cancelled. Remember this is from the PC version but still concept art so no matter:

Ah so some pretty cool looking concept art. This is a rumor to take very lightly but still look into it. Nintendo has yet to come out with some really big name online shooter type franchise to counter games like Halo. So Nintendo is probably definetly looking into that category like they did with Disaster: Day of Crisis unto the GTA series. So I’ll keep you posted on this and it’s said to be shown at LGC. Gosh gotta love LGC eh.

those graphics look way to good to be on the wii. regaurdless i still might try it if it is even real

What do you mean? Those graphics may look too good to be on the wii but thats the truth and comeon this is a Halo Killer FPS on the Wii!

The controls will be awesome. Also it is said to be better or atleast as good as Crisis and Halo! To be true I don't really care for the graphics!

it's concept art. It looks stylized because it's still on paper (so to speak) but it would look alot different in-game.

hopefully it does comeout and look amazing. the wii should be able to put out a lot better graphics than what we've been seeing. I think mp3 only used 2/3 3/4 of its full potential.

How can you saybthat it was bad ofcourse it wasn't awesome but it was good. Plus that was their first try while this will be the second try and then they have a chance to improve and they said that this will be the game that crushes HALO to DEATH! you heard me!!

halo sux0rz to begin with. itd be sweet to see a good FPS hit the wii though that actually looks good...MOHH2 SUCKS!!!

FarCry Vengeance was one of the worst FPS ever. The AI was possibly the dumbest in video game history.

Alright you boys and gals are using the term Halo Killer. Sony used that for their Halo Killer so they thought with Killzone. But they were absolutly wrong on the mark. It was just a halo clone that wasn't good.

Nothing will knock Halo from it's Dominant point in gaming. You would have to be perfect in everything in order to meet the hype and style halo is. Granted i would like to see some competition but it is extremely Rare to see a Halo killer sometime soon. Maybe in 7 years there will be one when the glory days of halo pass.

Just know that you have to have so much hype and perfection with this game to even make it close to the Halo Killer you claim to name it.
