Yeah you don't need to do that part, it comes after the miniboss because you obtain an item that'll help you get past that part anyway. Just go through the other bridge instead.

I'm collecting the insects after melting the river at zora's domain. I've got all but the last 2 bugs, at the point where only one bug shows on the map, and then the last exrta big bug remaining. When I started collecting I was having trouble find one (the third one I think) so I figured I get it later. So I have almost all of them now with only one while dot on the map showing at south west corner of lake hylia, but I cannot find a way to get back to the lake water. I've tried warping and swiming from the the different places but cant find access to it or the rivers are blocked. In the beginning you get there by pushing a box over the the edge of the hylia bridge and jump in to avoid the fire, but now the bridge is clean so I cant get back. Looked for weeds but the are all below in the water. I've spend 3 hours trying to get back there. plesae help, Anyone have any ideas ?

I dont remember much about that part but... Do you have the teleport thingy to that spot yet? If you dont... I think you get down by going to the house at the end of the bridge, where you'll have to pay 20 rubees to some clown guy to get flown down by a chicken, does that help?

Thanks Keldrona, but I'm still in wolf mode so cant do the chicken thing or get in the house, and there is no warp to lake Hylia until after I catch this last bug (a catch 22).

Well, if you don't have the warp in Lake Hylia, I would try going back to Zora's Domain and riding the river down to the lake. If that doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you.

Thanks sxmspace, I tried that too, but all the rivers have bars on them preventing you from getting to the lake

sounds as though your games had an error of some kind.
my advice because i came across a glitch similar but it was the cave with the giant cannon. i speant countless hours trying to access the cut scene where midna gets the cannon but it kept saying that the guy was still there but he left. what i did was started a new game and it didnt glitch again
