I've been trying like a big dog to get the frog and sinking lure. I'm stuck on level 7 of the roll ball game and for the love of anything I cannot locate the sinking lure. I do have zora's earring now so haven't been back to the fishing hole. I'm still trying to beat yeta for a piece of heart in snow boarding. Then I have to go back to that fishing hole. What is the prize anyway? Heart Container/ Nothing/. Hope You can shed some light!

Honestly, if you think holding a little bobble rod for over 2 hours, to catch some little fish to feed some silly cat, in order to progress in a game, you guys got to get out more and get some rippage. Not to sound like a jerk, but this is my first wii game, and im still learning the controls. I guess its a tough lesson, but i for some reason, im not doing it right, and the game doesnt tell you the right way of doing it. As much as its nice to see you enjoy fishing in a zelda game, it's not helping. Thanks again to cobrabry, and others for more usefull information.

I guess the canadian children are better fitted for Wiis then our american cousins . If this game isnt working out, id reccomend metroid prime 3 but there is some puzzles in there

You have to fish near where the cat is. Otherwise, yes... you probably will be fishing for 2 hours!

I think the fishing sucks too! I have spent many hours trying to win the frog lure. Still have not won. Also cannot find the hidden sinking lure. But to the one in the hillbilly town there is a wasps nest you can knock down and scoop up some of the bee lava to put onto your fishing hook. Using the bait is a sure fire bet to get the fish. just keep trying because I know I have to go back and see what stupid prize I will get for catching the big fish. But I still have to get that sinking lure or the frog lure. Hell Im having an issue right now beating the female yeti for a peace of heart. LOL It's fun though I love my wii and I'm going to buy one for my mother in law (in their 60's) so they can play with their friends they loved the bowling game.

I finally did it last night I beat Yeta in 1:14:?? Got my heart now it's back to the fishing hole and trying to beat that roll ball game and look for the sinking lure.

What on earth are you talking about? I've seen 4 guides on how to catch the stupid thing. I could never get it to work, but I've always sucked at Zelda fishing.

Took me 2 hours to get the heart piece for fishing in Ocarina of Time.
