Catching the reekfish.

How do I catch the reekfish? I have the earring and bait! I can't catch it. I can't even get it to say "Fish on". What do I do?

I just did this recently. I was in the Zora area where the waterfall takes you. I could actually see the red fish swimming around and I put the bait right in that area. I caught 3 pretty quickly.

My question is this: I have not fished until this reekfish since the beginning of the game. When I pull in a fish I just hold the Wii remote up in the air and it pulls the fish in. Is there a different way to do this? Do you reel like with a real rod and reel? I think I'd enjoy fishing more if you didn't just hold the remote in one position and pull the fish in.

Well in the game there are 2 differant types of fishing
#1 is fishing On land ; anywhere where u have to juat lift the Wiimote in the air

#2 where your in a boat in the fishing hole ; where u have to reel it in with the nunchuk and stuff

Now all I have to do is find the fishing hole! I have the letter telling me where it is but I cannot find it for the life of me.

The fishing hole is in the upper zora's river, You will find it past a door when you get to the howling stone and turn around

Stand where the red dot is and fish into the orange dot.
