My Problem- "I Need Help Please!"
Here's the deal. I just got a Wii. The first game I bought was Zelda. Love it so far. However, Saving the game has been a real issue for me. My "+" button, or the start button, doesn't work. When I go to push it, nothing happens. At some parts in the game it did work. I figured it was an in game thing so I kept playing. Hour 6 into the game. The save thing doesn't work for me still!!!!! and I'm getting tired. I figured, I just turn it off. Nope sends me way back. Now, I'm cool with it being an in game save spot thing. However, the "-" button, or item button, doesn't work for me.
I was at the part just after the very first new weapon skill the final kill thing and run up the temple to kill the two orcs and then save the monkey and then when I go to burn the spider web, I CAN'T GO TO THE select screen to put the lantern into my usable items. I'm stuck. What gives? is this a controller problem I'm having of what? any help would be outstanding. Thanks a lot. |

Sounds like a Wiimote problem. Check the batteries. If that's not the problem, then you may need to get a new one from Nintendo.
Oh, and welcome to Wiispace!

Right now I have Energizer E2 Lithium AA batteries. This is my first time trying them so I don't know how long they last. The batteries that came with the Wii lasted about 25 hours of play over a week.
I heard that rechargeable battery packs are only the same as 2 AAA batteries. If that's the case, that may be the problem.

Try using some batteries that aren't rechargeable and see id that helps, if you still have the problem then you should contact Nintendo.

So this is what I did. I got new batteries. everything is cool now. I would never get the Psyclone Rechargeable Batteries. However, I separated the recharge battery from the battery cover. One thing, and the only thing, that was convenient about the battery was the cover. It has a button on the outside for the sync. So now I have a cover on my remote and I don't have to take off the cover to Sync. I know, I know big woop. It was the least I could salvage from the crap I bought and the almost throwing my controller across the room feeling by not saving. Thats for all of your guy's help.

That is great man. I would recommend if you want a rechargeable battery pack, get a Nyko set. They usually come with a recharging station you can set the Wii mote in to recharge the batteries. I have had it for about 9 months and it still works great. Saved me a lot of money buying new batteries every week.
