Stuck in Zelda Twilight Princess

I'm stuck in Zelda.
After finnishing death mountain and returned to Kakariko village and bought the bombs etc, i'm told to get north to Lanayru Province by the black "*****". And after crossing Hyrule fields and the stone bridge i blew up the boulders on the other side, so far so good. Then the heaven opened and destroyed part of the bridge (no return) and dropped down 3 black monsters. But since it was pretty late that night i desided to save and quit, so i did.
But then when i started the day after i was on the wrong side of the bridge and i can't find a way to get to the other side to defeat the monsters etc.
Please help anyone.

Well, sadly, if you would check the internet, this is a fairly common problem.

This is actually the only major glitch in this entire game, and sadly it makes it impossible to continue, being on the wrong side of the bridge and all.

A lot of people have falled into this trap, the only way out is to make a new file and start over.

I know it's too late for you but something you may want to try.

I always, always in every game that has the ability to save make 2 files. When you save alternate between them then incase something like this happens or you just went a path you didn't like you can go back. I am glad I read about this though as I just bought the game and haven't hit that part yet.

You cant pick what file you save on in Zelda. Just which one you start on, and then it saves on that one automatically from then on.

Well then I am playing a different version of Zelda Twilight Princess then you are. I can save the game anytime I want and I actually have 3 save files.....

um not quite. I can chose where i save my file to. I accidently saved it to slot 3 in the water temple. So mega, u are wrong, me and the other guy(forgot your name sorry) are right. MUWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Ok, maybe it is just another version of the game. What the heck are you talking about? When did you say anything to be right about? This is your first post in this thread.

I don't think it's another version of the game, I just think you are not sure how to do it.

Try putting the game in, go to the sub menu and choose save. It will bring you to a screen with 3 slots you can choose from to save in. As I said I rotate between them incase something happens. I do this in any game that allows it. It actually saved me one time back in the day when I was playing Super Metroid.
